There was a proposed large scale tidal power project on the Bay of Fundy. It was shelved when simulation showed it would change the oscillation frequency from Boston all the way up the bay, There is a new test project recently started producing some of the most expensive power in Nova Scotia. They now make inflatables. Let me see if I can quickly find those.
Not sure how these hold up to wave powers though. I remember these from massive floods in the US in recent years though. They saved a few homes.
Great question. I just noted that South Korea is the world leader in this tidal conversion . IN Florida I recall a similar test which they were able to capture wave power. There is so much out there to be discovered and improved upon. My gosh look at the wind mill blades back when and now. The technology to capture maximum energy verses loss due to bad design.
