Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.It’s been 20 years or so but I remember reading some studies of prayer. As I recall the effect exists when the subject believes that the prayer is being done regardless of the actual prayer. It was a four arm double blind study and pretty well done.The magnitude was about 3% and consistent with other placebo type effects. Can’t remember any other details.
