Ok, your post sounds a bit too generalized. So I read the article cited. I'm sure you were just sparking some interest. You did. I agree with ToolGuy, we need to look at alternatives for batteries. DC was virtually abandoned years ago, for practical power needs and for transmission requirements. Maybe someone will make improvements on batteries but I doubt it. DC with batteries has its uses but as an alternative at the scale we need it's not likely. ToolGuy is right we need to look else where.
