The Winter Solstice officially took place in the U.K. this morning at 3.27 am GMT….and today will be the shortest day of 2023, lasting only 7 hours 49 minutes and 42 seconds in London. However, from now on the days will start to lengthen again so let’s celebrate with Jethro Tull…
I really hate these short days!
Yes…me too, but they’re on the turn again now.
@Marionville Yes, I've been counting the days all month.
Not a huge fan of Mr. Tull..absolutely Hate how he sustains notes on consonants!!!!! But def a cheery seasonal video and he kept the consonants to a minimum......
That was a definite plus then!
6 hours 36 minutes in Inverness but remember the old dour Scots saying " when the days get longer the cold gets stronger "
Oh trust us to be cheery & upbeat…not!

Posted by MattHardyA Boris promise is just a lie that hasn't happened yet. Whatever Sue Grey says, no way is Boris going to admit he lied and resign.
