Can we turn something (matter) to nothing? in other word can we destroy an object and make it vanish completely?
You actually cannot prove that any defined space contains NOTHING. You have to have a detector to detect the presence of an unknown physical or 'etherial' presence and that detector has not been invented yet for whatever you are thinking about.
you are saying that "nothing" does not exist, from other side if accept the big bang theory as fact then the universe must have edge, what is beyond that edge? isn't it nothing? where no time and space exist.
@Noor92 It is one thing to worry about whether something exists and another to actually prove it. If you cannot prove it become an agnostic and stop worrying . e.g God
You can 'destroy' matter by turning it into energy but that energy goes on existing. The biggest uncertainty is about what happens to energy inside a black hole.
some says that the energy well be discarded back to the space or it will be pushed out from the other side of black hole which is called white hole.
