I have just been tracking Greta Thunberg's yacht, Malizia: [tracker.borisherrmannracing.com] They are sailing into the wind for the time being, so will be constantly changing tack. I can't imagine how uncomfortable it must be, smashing through the waves, peeing into a bucket, sleeping in a bunk next to the hull. The nearest I have been to that was a gentle crossing of the Channel in my friend's GP 12, an old, 12ft dinghy, which we sailed from Hythe to Calais many (too many) years ago. Even in calm weather the swell in that stretch of water is eight feet, so it must be bloody rough where Malizia is now.
Nothing to do with gods or demons. I just like boats.
She is prepared to suffer for the cause.
Indeed. And intends not to meet Trump.
Gusty and principled girl, you have to admire her,
Absolutely.
My sister and brother in law sailed from Jersey to Garrucha, then from Garrucha to the Caribbean and finally back to Jersey. Just the two of them in a 28 foot yacht. In the Bay off Biscay they were in a storm and had waves that were higher than the mast tossing them about and crashing over the deck. Needless to say, they were well tied on!!

Posted by MattHardyA Boris promise is just a lie that hasn't happened yet. Whatever Sue Grey says, no way is Boris going to admit he lied and resign.
