Lucky Ireland
No link. I thought you are referring to Brexit not sport.
Ha ha, Probably both
I would agree. Scotland played the better game. However, overall the way the game was played bodes well for Wales!
@OwlInASack When it comes to Northern Hemisphere rugby, I support Wales. However, the land of the dragon loses my support the moment the Springboks feature.
In March I shall be in the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, as England meet Italy. I have a friend in Rome who organised good tickets for the game. Lucky me!!!
@OwlInASack One can watch at home, but there's no sociability buzz. Hence I invariably head for a pub and company.
This year's Italy vs England match will be a "bucket list" treat.
Since I'm driving there from Mojacar, I'm incorporating a three night stop in Barcelona in order to see the sights. Then a non-stop trip from Barcelona to Como, where my sister lives. (1100kms)
As a Scottish sports fan I’m resigned to my fate....always optimistic that my team will win but never surprised when they lose! Rugby/football it doesn’t matter which...we always seem to lose!!
Scotland played the better game, but dropped the ball when an absolutely certain try was one second away. Ireland had better defence.
@Petter Yes...I know I watched it too. That is the familiar story of Scotland...they play well but can’t win because they give away points and don’t finish the job. Hogg dropped the ball...I’m sure he’s beating himself up about that! It’s just another day in the life of a Scotland supporter...ah well, a good reason to have a dram or three!!
Never mind. there is the Calcutta cup to win next weekend.
@Moravian Oh yes...hope springs eternal!
