#5. That Motorola StarTAC flip phone. I thought it was cool as shit until I realized the battery only lasted for about 20 minutes worth of talk time. Texting wasn't even a thing yet. And the signal sucked.
Yup! And my kids were begging me for a phone in 1999. I remember saying, " There is no way we can afford $49.99 for a phone!" ... That would be wonderful today!
Me personally, 10. My parents had a bag phone when I was little though.
I had one in a bag, even though better models were out by that time.
My husband was an idiot Luddite.
I used #1 for work back in the day. It wasn't mine, those were too expensive for me to buy. It had an antenna that magnetically attached to the vehicle roof and a cable that ran into the car for use while driving. My first personal cell phone was a #4.
I used no. 1 for work too. I couldn't afford those or the $3.00/minute rates either. It also didn't get a signal any time I actually needed it.
