I have friends in Nelson on the South Island and have found a NZ tour company, Active Adventures, which friends recently used to hike, bike and paddle. If anyone has advice on the glow worm caves which are on the North Island, I would be very grateful. I will do the caves independently.

I don't have any travel plans yet, but if anyone is planning to visit Grandfather Mountain in NC this summer I have the year-long bridge club pass which will get me and several others in for free if anyone would like to group up and go.
