Hey, I’m going to be in Newark and Manhattan next weekend for about 25 hours. Does anyone have any recommendations about free sightseeing destinations? I’m considering WTC memorial,Times Square, Central Park, etc, but idk what I’ll do. Does anyone know how much the public transportation costs to ride?

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.In NYC, it’s fun to meander in different directions. There are ethnic sections, museum sections, places with fun window shopping. There are interesting houses of worship you can enter for free, if that interests you. Greenwood cemetery in Brooklyn can be interesting to wander thru.
If you invest some money, there are tours for everything from sightseeing to lessons on gargoyles and architecture.

I haven't been in a while, so can't help you with prices. When I go, I always go to as many museums and galleries as I can take. Of course, the museums aren't free but the galleries are.
