Today my post is a very unusual accordion cover by North Korean musicians filmed at the Kum Music School, Pyongyang. Apparently the first album by Norwegian band a-ha - Hunting High and Low became very popular in North Korea, being one of the few western bands approved of by the regime, and the students at this music academy have performed accordion covers of all the tracks...this one is a-ha’s 1986 hit song The Sun Always Shines On TV.
I’m including the original track from the album which inspired the cover, and the official promotional video.
