I’m a big fan of Heather Headley, singer/songwriter & actress who was born in Trinidad in the West Indies, and who has had a great deal of success on Broadway and London’s West End as well as on TV and film…winning many prestigious awards for her performances in The Lion King, The Bodyguard, and Aida, to name only a few. In my opinion, she performs the best version of The Prayer with renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli. This version is the best I’ve ever heard and that includes his duets with Celine Dion and other top female singers. Here they perform it live in Las Vegas in 2006, introduced by David Foster who co-wrote the song with Carole Bayer Sager….
