Traditional Balinese music is very melodic, and the Balinese dancers very graceful. I visited Bali many years ago with my husband and remember being greeted in the hotel lobby by a dance troupe as we checked in and were offered hot face towels and a chilled glass of tropical fruit juice…hospitality Balinese style!
Dance is very important in Balinese culture so I thought we’d take a look at some of the different dances from this fascinating Indonesian Island…the only one in this vastly populous Muslim country which is majority Hindu.
