The Voice TV series…franchised globally with many versions and offshoots… this one I’ve chosen is from The Voice Senior, Germany in 2018. It’s the initial blind audition of Dan Lucas performing John Farnham’s anti-war anthem …the appropriately named - You’re The Voice. It’s fair to say he bowled the coaches and the audience over and was the eventual winner of the show. He wasn’t a newcomer to showbiz it must be said…he was the frontman and lead singer of the German hardrock band KARO and toured Europe with Meat Loaf in the 80’s.

Yes…I think it was a foregone conclusion that he’d win.
@Marionville Yes, it seemed to be but I've never watched The Voice so I wasn't sure how it all worked. The judges were surely quite enthusiastic.
@Lauren That was only the initial blind audition…he would have to compete each week with the other competitors when some would be eliminated…until after several weeks the viewers would vote on a winner.
@Marionville Not having television service means I miss some current culture - and sometimes good shows. I hope he won.
