Aphrodite’s Child was a Greek pop/rock band formed in Athens in 1967…by Evangelos Papathanassiou (later known as Vangelis), Demis Roussos and Lucas Sideras. They had quite a few hits in Europe until they split up to pursue successful international solo careers in 1972.
Here they are with Rain And Tears their second single which was released in 1968…
