Tired and aching from playing cricket? I always seem to be most some two days after. Wondering why this happens...
Playing Cricket? I have never even watched cricket. As little as I know of playing cricket, my guess is you're tired and achy because it is unaccustomed exercise.
@pmar044 I don't know how physically demanding Cricket is, however thinking it is like American Football, the getting too old for it part comes way earlier for the body than it does for the mind. My advice, listen to your body, it really knows better.
@pmar044 Everything I know about Cricket came from the movie The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. However, since I have been off work (about 2 months) I have also lost some weight and strengthened my knees. Too many years of being heavy and three falls on ice last winter played hell with them. Your plan to lose weight and strengthen is sound. I am amazed at how much better my knees and back are! I even ran in the gym this morning. I haven't run for 30 years. Granted I only ran a few steps, but all things considered it is a huge deal for me.
