Listening to that one song -- "Weightless" -- resulted in a striking 65 percent reduction in participants' overall anxiety, and a 35 percent reduction in their usual physiological resting rates. - According to Mindlab International's research.
It is also supposed to help you sleep.
Marconi Union designed the song in collaboration with sound therapists. Its carefully arranged harmonies, rhythms, and bass lines help slow a listener's heart rate, reduce blood pressure and lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol.
What do you think?
how about some binaural beats? works better for me.
you need to listen to this via headphones.
I've tried to listen to these relaxation melodies, but I always fall asleep. Do they get any better toward then end?
Lol
I played that for two nights while I slept, worst sleep ever and my anxiety went sky high. That doesn't work for me and I wish it did.
@silvereyes I haven't tried any. I have Spotify and I used to play Music For Concentration at work, but continual switching from headphone for Spotify to headphones for telephone was just too annoying.
It does have a nice feel to it as I listen. May have to get that long version.
I've listened to this before. I think there's a really long extended version too. I really didn't notice the claimed affects but I liked it. It's got a good beat and you can meditate to it
