Did you know that you can see Venus in the daytime? It's difficult because of that tiny speck of light getting lost in a vast sky but easy if you have a guide. On the evening of October 9th, and of course before the sun sets, look to the southwestern sky and locate the crescent moon. Look below and to the right of the moon about 2 degrees (4 moon diameters) to spy a tiny pinprick of light. That's Venus. The sky must be clear, even a bit of haze or smoke will spoil your view. Use your binoculars at first to spot Venus and then just your eyes. The photo us from 2019 and Venus is above the moon a bit. Click on the photo and you'll see Venus. Good luck.

Venus is both depending where it is located. Now and for the rest of the year it's in the SW after sunset.
