I'm currently reading "The Power Worshippers" by Katherine Stewart. Is anyone else reading this? Seems like a great non-fiction book to discuss here with its meaty contents. I'm only a few hours into it, but I've just got to share that this book is likely of great interest to a lot of folks here, in the U.S. anyway.
It answers a lot of questions I had like how can so many Christian folks see Trump as a savior, when he's about the least Christian politician I've ever seen.
If you didn't see Christian Nationalism as much of a threat to our democracy, read this book, which might really open your eyes. Yes, it's also on Audible, besides in print. Wow. Now back to reading...

Thanks , some of the ultra religious I know wear BLINDERS when it comes to politics-they believe religion is so powerful that ANY dissent
from the churches doctrine should be met with
fire & brimstone. Common sense & human dignity DO NOT enter into thier equations
