I'm currently trying to get through Robert Sapolsky's Behave, which is terrific, but no walk in the park for the non-neuroscientists among us. His other books were more accessible. But he's the only hilarious primatologist/neuroscientist out there....I heard him on NPR discussing the persistence of traumatic memory. He summed up with, "And that's why we all remember where we were when Gweneth Paltrow named her kid Apple."
