The church needed a new bell ringer, so the preacher was trying out applicants. A small man with no arms comes in.
“You have no arms! How are you going to ring the bell?” the preacher asked.
The man said, “Just watch,” and he ran full speed at the bell, hitting it with his face. But he wasn’t paying attention as the bell swung back, and it knocked him out of the belfry and he fell to his death on the ground below.
The preacher rushed down and was lamenting the tragedy when a passerby said, “who is that?”
“I don’t know,” the preacher said, “but his face rings a bell.”

But wait, there’s more ...
The next day the preacher was trying out more applicants when lo and behold, in comes a small man with no arms.
“Gah! Didn’t I just see you die yesterday?” The preacher said.
“No, that was my twin brother. I would like to take his place as bell ringer as a tribute to him,” the armless man said.
“And I suppose you’re going to ring it with your face like he did?” the preacher asked.
“Yes, just watch,” he said, and ran full speed, face first into the bell. But just like the other one, he was either too stunned or too stupid to get out of the way of the backswing, and it knocked him out of the belfry to the ground below.
The preacher rushed down and was lamenting the double tragedy, and a passerby asked, “who’s that?”
“I don’t know,” the preacher said, “but he’s a dead ringer for his brother.”
