It's totally dead here tonight but guess I'll post anyway. This is the project I just finished for a friend for Christmas. I won't mail until after Christmas of course but she has been on a cruise up until now anyway so would not been there to get it. This is just woodburning on a scrap of knotted pine. It has a seasonal flip side.

Thanks. The hardest part may be finding the scrape of wood with just the right knot in it. Fortunately, I often buy grade 2 or less boards so it is not uncommon that there are knots in it.
Wow!! You could pull relief prints from that!!

Thanks! It will sit on a shelf on it's own as long as it doesn't get jiggled too much. It won't have a hanger on it since both sides have a design. For security, it can lean slightly against something.
