I found a couple different videos I thought were interesting. Both are paint pouring but this ones is with resin and what she is calling a petri dish technique creating pendants.
I think it would be cool to fill these donuts with semiprecious gem chips, could be all in one hour, or could use multiple stone types for a multicolored look.

I have always been curious about working with resin but have not been brave enough to try it. Many many years ago my uncle used clear resin to embed marijuana leaves in. He made paperweights for the local state police post, because back then many of the cops didn't know what marijuana leaves looked like. However, the police officers kept stealing the paperweights, so he decided to switch to smaller keychain forms. This was back in the early 1970s and my college friends practically drooled over them. I don't know where he grew the stuff and I don't know if he ever tried smoking it. He was a smoker for decades and I am sure he was more than capable of rolling his own.
Be brave! You can do it!!
@BeeHappy I took a quick look at a couple of videos on YouTube and decided that I am going to remain a resin virgin. It looks complicated and I don't really have the space needed to do it. I will be an admirer but not a creator.
AHHHHHHHHHH!! I enjoy wire weaving natural stones that are cut and polished into donuts. I have to make some of these!! Thanks for the fun tips.
Sure, my pleasure. ?
They look good enough to eat! That's a compliment.
