Another downside to a rapidly secularizing society is the erasure of family values from our culture. I never ever thought I'd see the day where I say something like this. I always use to laugh at republicans who talked about "family values", etc. But now I am older and wiser I understand that family values are necessary for the survival of civilization. I find our current commitment phobic hookup culture quite sickening. Men and women need each other for society to thrive. Our society functioned at it's best when the nuclear family was the standard people worked towards achieving. Now we live in an anything goes society where people have no self control. Women are sluts and proud of it. Men are fuckboys and proud of it. People don't want to settle down until they are 40 and by that time they're so mentally fucked up from so much baggage that they cannot even fully trust a person of the opposite sex and pair bond. And even if they do by some chance find a person to fall in love with and marry, they'll be too old to have more than one child or maybe they won't have any at all. People in the west have the lowest birth rates. They are below replacement level. people are on their way to extinction and you better believe that Civilization will die with us.
I know I'm ranting right now and not really making much sense but, alas, it is 4:51 am and I still haven't slept. What I'm really trying to get at is something that has been upsetting me lately in my personal life: dating. It seems that it's impossible to find a serious man who believes in lifelong commitment and has family values. Most men nowadays just want sex and will ghost you if you don't fuck them after the second date. I don't want to be ghosted by 100 men before I find the right man for me. It's frustrating as hell. Not only that, but most men nowadays have bought into the feminist lie that men and women are perfectly equal and they want a woman who has a high education and a good career like they do. Some of the men's profiles I've seen on match.com mention they want a woman who makes at least $75,000 per year. This is ridiculous. I'm a woman who is more traditional leaning and would like to be a stay-at-home wife and mother. But there are no men out there, at least not in California, who want traditional women. They all want some over achieving woman who is married to her career and will put her children in daycare to be raised by strangers. It's frustrating. I know life has gotten extremely expensive and most people cannot afford to raise a family on just one salary so I don't mind maybe having to work part time when I get married. But I want a man who is more traditional minded and has the aspiration to one day be able to keep his wife at home, even if he can't afford to do it at the moment, and doesn't mind if she only works part time. Men, by nature, are supposed to be PROVIDERS and women NURTURERS. That's just the way it is. It doesn't make a woman a gold digger for wanting a man who will take care of her just like it's not misogynistic for a man to want a nurturing woman who will stay home, cook, and raise the children!!!! That being said, I'm still an egalitarian in terms of the law. Women should have the right to work if they want. But in an ideal society where women are not brainwashed by feminism, I think most women would rather stay at home and have kids instead of having a career. So....yeah! All I want is to find a good, man to have lots of children with. But that seems impossible in this day and age, especially in the atheist community. Most atheists also seem to believe the lie that the earth is overpopulated and that having children is bad for the environment so I'll probably never meet an atheist man who wants to have more than one child while I'd like to have 4. We need to have more children or else we will go extinct! Importing low IQ people from third world countries like they're doing in Europe will not solve our low birth rate issue. In fact, it will just make civilization crumble even faster. So...yeah.... sorry for my rant. I'm going to sleep now! Please let me know what you guys think about modern relationships, marriage, family values, etc....
