Are Conservatives too Conservatives? Are Liberals too Liberal? I'm a conservative Liberal which means I'm Liberal with an appreciation for moderate conservativism. The way I see it this country could stand on it's own and survive without liberals (Liberals would fold militarilly with out a conservative worldview.) The reverse could not be said, conservatives don't need Liberals, but having admitted that without liberals this country would lose much of its freedoms. Money and security would outweigh civil liberties, education for the less wealthy would become a problem, feeding the less privileged, the sick, the mentally I'll bet you will all say I'm wrong if I am wrong show me how I'm wrong, what legislation do conservatives ever support that helps the middle and lower class. I want you to know I mean no deliberate offense. (See there's my liberal concern for your feelings) Tell me what you think. If I'm wrong back it up and tell me why?

I think the US has gone too far in public spending. There needs to be toughening up and scaling back. Republicans do support public spending to a degree, they're not Libertarians.

I think both parties are becoming more liberal. The Republican Party of today is more liberal than the democrat party of JFK. The democrat party on the other hand is drifting way left with the likes of Bernie Sanders and Ocasio Cortez. The democrats and republicans used to work together but starting with Obama who was quite radical this seemed to no longer be the case. The liberals are the ones who want to curtail out freedoms with they’re regulations, higher taxes and gun control.

I agree with you about the liberalism I see liberals today as pussified whinny bitches with no spine making the same mistakes over and over, it's morphed into something else. I have no where to go because I'm not a centrists. I would or could be but Republicans have lost their way too far to the right. I have respect for people in the party but I have no respect for the leadership and I'm not talking about Trump. Republicans are not the party they were back in the Ronald Reagan or George Bush days. I would be a republican if that were true. Republicans in my opinion have lost their freaking mind. I honestly don't mean that to be an insult even though it really is insulting but it's how I feel.
