EVERY PICTURE TELLS A STORY -- Eastern Sierra -- 2001
California had been suffering a decades long drought when we had record rain and snow that winter. As a result, water that is often scarce in the high desert, once again flowed freely.
I found the source of the stream as it picked-up more tributaries and followed it downhill to the lake where we were planning to camp. The year before, the lake was about 2/3 of what it became after the rain.
