I hiked up Sharp Top again. It is close to home, steep but short, has good views, and crowds too.

Close to home is the best kind! Speaking of homes, is that a house in the last photo? Seems it would have a awesome view if all those boulders weren't in the way.

The shelter was built in 1858 as part of the Peaks of Otter Hotel to provide overnight lodging for guests who wanted to hike the mountain.
