They got this documentary on Netflix about mushrooms if you ever want to check it out
I might search it out. Thanks.
It's funny but years ago I took a mushroom hunting weekend with a group, the Mountaineers [mountaineers.org] a great club and once the 2nd largest outdoor/environmental club next to the Sierra Club. The Seattle Mycological club sent members to lead the weekend (there were a lot in attendance) and we hunted mushrooms, put them in a building (the cat house - snow cats it was a ski lodge) had lectures on dyes and other uses and even had a meal with them. Ever since then whenever I go for a walk I spot mushrooms. Once you start all of a sudden you see them everywhere. Funny how that works.
Right. It helps that they are such interesting-looking little guys
@thislife you bet, I was amazed at the variety of colors, shapes and sizes.
Nice photos, the little one in the tree knothole looks little kind of a fun guy.
Yeah, I thought so too,

Posted by CallMeDaveI've never been a big wildflower person, but this is the season for it here in Appalachia. Other people can identify every variety. I'm not there yet.
