I enjoy biking, (Have to get the brakes serviced on my mountain bike) camping and fishing. I haven't tried kayaking yet, but it looks fun. I live about a 1/2 mile from the York River where there's a lot of good fishing. Fluke and flounder in their seasons, croakers and spots. Sometimes we even get bluefish in the river. Stripers are a usual occurrence here and we always find sea trout. And don't forget the blue crabs. We have tons of them here. There's also some spots for some good fresh water fishing too. Large mouth bass, bluegills, perch and many others. Unfortunately, those waters have been drastically over fished because of the preponderance of the human population.
I have a ten speed racer I call my city bike.I use it when going places with paved roads. The other is a 21 speed mountain bike. It's for going down gravel driveways and paths and it's my country bike. I actually don't use that one much. I don't do as much biking as I once did but still do some.
In April we have a day called the Tour de Lopez. Ours is the flattest (but not flat) of all the islands and and has the designation as the bike island. Over a thousand come on that day and all summer long there are tons of bikes.

Posted by CallMeDaveI've never been a big wildflower person, but this is the season for it here in Appalachia. Other people can identify every variety. I'm not there yet.
