Not a major expedition, the beach where I saw the otters is part of a loop of three miles start to finish from my house. Heading out for a quick overnight tomorrow, I have a propensity for sleeping under the stars next to a fire I haven't indulged lately( deep snow and very low temperatures spoil the romance)

They won't interact with humans and it was unusual to get even this close. This is a busy beach with foot traffic so they have to tolerate us nearby.
