I am planning a bicycle trip from Virginia Beach, up the eastern shore to DC and back to Virginia Beach via Richmond on August 10 through 18. I plan on stealth camping along the way, that way I have no schedule. If anyone wants to join me let me that would be great.
Between Jamestown and Richmond you can ride the Capital Trail. It's 52 rolling miles of paved trail. It's not a rail to trail, so it follows the rolling terrain, or what we have. There is camping at Chickahominy Riverfront Park. I think that's 6 miles from Jamestown toward Richmond.

Posted by CallMeDaveI've never been a big wildflower person, but this is the season for it here in Appalachia. Other people can identify every variety. I'm not there yet.
