Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.When we topped out on routes in the Linville Gorge, there was no trail and just a thick forest of rhododendron to fight through. We used to call it Rhodo Hell. At least though, no thorns.

rhododendron - I think they stay green. With that said we have a lot of trees budding up because of all this warm weather.
Great way to bring the year to an end!
