Has anyone tried LifeRing Secular Recovery? I played around on SMART a bit but LifeRing looks more user friendly (or more Marcie-friendly, lol).

I am sucking it up and going to an AA meeting tonight. I've discovered that the god part doesn't bother me as much as the "you are powerless over alcohol." Screw that! But I do find the group setting enjoyable for the most part and like hearing other people's stories.

I browsed their site, but didn't dive into it. It sounds decent. I'll have to look into again.
Yea I'm not a fan of AA or any 12 step program....
Reading the orange-papers pretty much confirmed a lot of what I felt during the AA program...

I'm not familiar with that kind of therapy/counseling. Will have to check it out. Hope you find a group that's a good fit.
