smart was a great boon to me when I quit. The community of non-judgemental people who had been there helped a lot.
In AA people say "You can't think yourself into right living but you can live yourself into right thinking." I liked it the first time I heard it and I still like it.
I appreciate all the tool that are available for people in recovery. I just can't get into AA. Not my tribe, but I'm grateful for those that they help. Too much adrenal system and not enough limbic system for me.
