It's not the outback (which I would love to see sometime for star gazining ) ... but a vast prairie where you can see forever. I love music too and this one seem to fit.
@Earthling50 Exactamundo! Get out of the neon haze of cities and the night sky properly reveals itself. I can spend hours looking at it. And then you get a shooting star. Amazing.
What are your musical interests?
@Palindromeman AC/DC for starters...certain rock, jazz, classical; medieval music - not into rap, electronic stuff, boys bands / manufactured music.

Christ in a sidecar, I need to think about this (and music labels are vague) but here we go: indie folk, some country, indie pop, rock, jazz (big time), classical (JS Bach is my hero) and yeah medieval music also.
Hows things on the road?Just got back from 4 weeks out and starting to want to get back out!

@lookinhard this year so far SC and Mrytle Beach and 5 countries in Africa (Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, S. Africa). Next to Saskatchewan for a star party then to E. Europe, Italy and France for a fix of art, culture, food and wine
