I've been going old school and re-reading William Gibson. Awesome material.

I'm halfway through The Fabric of Reality by David Deutch; it's about the science of parallel universes, and I've been on it a while. I've just borrowed The Soul of America by Jon Meacham from the library, along with Moose Memoirs and Lobster Tales by John McDonald, funny essays about Maine.

Just got done reading "The Big Picture" by Sean Carroll. Reading books on time and gravity. Researching for a thesis. It is going to take a while.

Been working my way through my Analog collection. Currently reading november 89 issue.

Very sad that many of the story's themes are of issues we were on about in the 60s, 70's, 80's, we still are being stupid about now.

I have stopped reading some stories because the references to here and now were too disturbing. Some of the images were more present, more dangerous, and more fearful, than i need just before dreams.

And got a copy of "God is not great," ready and yearning.

I am saddened by the fact that as a species we can do great things while at the same time duck them up, we never learn. Do you think this will ever change?

@Lincoln55 That’s too bad the original statue is gone. This later book is really good.
