If you all don’t mind, I’ll keep posting my short tales that I share with friends. Here’s the next one:
I bought some kale chips today. It seemed like a fiscally responsible food purchase at the time. I ate one single leaf and now I need to find a good home for the rest of his friends. My tongue is crying. Some people may say that’s not possible. Those people suck. Work friends, if you’re interested, I’d relish an opportunity to contribute to your digestive health. The trip wasn’t an entire waste. For a moment in time I shared an aisle with a young couple. The woman was looking at the soap and her significant other was behind her. He reaches for a can of OFF spray. He proceeds to spray her butt a few times trying to “get the ants out of her pants.” Initially she did not realize that it was spray that was hitting her so she kept batting it away. So, essentially, it was like watching a woman pass an odoriferous cloud of gas and fan it in my direction. The man found this hilarious. What was really funny was how unamused she was. Somebody is on the couch tonight. ?

I have already posted about my shopping for food routine. Briefly this consists of hanging around till the super reduced comes out at my local Tescos. There then ensues a cross between a refugee drop and the start of a jumble sale. Bottom line is it forces me to eat unusual things (for a single guy that is) like kale but only because its 6p a bag

Note to self, store bought kale chips suck! Question for you, have you ever eaten fresh kale or home made kale chips? I have eaten both and found neither to be repulsive.

Lol. It is certainly possible that other people like store-bought Kale but I thought it tasted rather poisonous. I have not tried fresh kale chips so perhaps I need to make them to get a true picture. Thanks for the idea!
@phelicity9 I spritz the kale with olive oil and season with whatever I'm in the mood for, then roast in the oven at 350 until crisp, usually 10-15 minutes.
