Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I remember seeing Asimov at the Worldcon in Boston in 1989. He was parading around with two blondes on his arms singing a song he concocted to the tune of Home on the Range:
“Clone, clone of my own...
With a Y chromosome changed to X...”
He was a true character. I think he died not long afterwards.

@evidentialist Yes, he did a lot of living in those 72 years.
@PenLOP -- Sad to die the way he did, too. Hospital error probably robbed him of 20 years or more.
I met Heinlein at World Con in '77. Walked away with an autograph on my first edition I Will Fear No Evil.

I liked him a lot. He was a harsh taskmaster and a tough critic, but a gem of an individual. Do you recall how you felt at the moment of getting that autograph?
Still one of the best al time...A true visionist in the world of SF!!!
