I have a few self published books on Amazon. I haven’t written in awhile but still generate coffee money each month.
I’ve written erotica but dabbled crossing into Christian girl loses faith and discovers the joy of sex.
I’m thinking now I want to move more into mysteries that get solved with real science and illustrate the foolishness of faith
G.K Chesterton wrote many delightful short stories about his Catholic priest detective - Father Brown. He solves his mysteries with a combination of wisdom and logic. Chesterton died in 1936 and though many of the stories are more than 100 years old, they still make sense.

If you have the requisite knowledge go for it but I suggest that at least half of police officers work on belief irrespective of its correctnes - the same as magistrates.
Yeah, you are probably right, but I’m curious about the times they get it right and you can identify the key info that revealed the truth even though it appears be intuition
