Personally, I'm a voracious reader and have two books published. Writing my first book was very cathartic, opened me up to seeing things and events in my life from a mature and very different perspective. Reading expands my knowledge of this planet, on which we live. Reading also causes me to wonder, are we, Americans, really as sophisticated as we think?
