My novels are based on haunting events in my home town near the Hanford Nuclear site. My novellas are from my nightmares. My shorts stories are usually humorous tales with a lesson. I'm not yet published. My older siblings and I have all been professional musicians since the early '70s. Learning enough to make a living at music was tough enough, but learning to write well and how to best edit my own work has proven quite the task. I couldn't not write, though; it's my peace of mind. I've posted a few shorts here, including a bit of stuff archived at Perihelion Science Fiction. Other works available at many online outlets, Double Dragon Publishing, and Lillicat Publishing. I began as a Technical Writer/Illustrator for Butler Publications in Los Angeles, was responsible for content and publication of Capitol Records Music Views Magazine for a couple of years, and freelanced as a copywriter for Capitol Records, ABC-Paramount, Vanguard, Columbia, and several ad agencies in and around Hollywood. I have published several articles in sailing related magazines, and a lot of material in dedicated magazines in the marine trade, plus a few astronomy oriented pieces.

You mentioned music. My dad was a fairly successful songwriter/copywriter in Hollywood and I worked with him quite a bit. In addition to my day jobs during the mid 1950s to the late - ish 1960s I was in the folk music scene performing at clubs all over the country. Primarilly Hollywood, Miami, New York, Toronto, Vancouver, Seattle, and San Francisco. Instruments: Guitar, five string, bass, Appalachian dulcimer, flute, sax, and marimbas. I know, it's a weird combination. I was also to be found frequently standing in the extras lines at the studios in Hollywood. So long ago and so much water under the bridge.
