Zip Wire

I'm sitting at the table
Outside the pub
Mates just keep talking
And talking

Bubbles in my glass
Forms at the bottom
Then lifts up
Floats to the surface

Bigger bubbles goes up faster
Smaller ones not so fast

A young woman walks
On the other side
Of the road
She has a beautiful name

I walk with her
Just as far as I can see
From my seat

Lost the lead
My glance wanders up
Like a balloon
Filled with helium
By the wall
Of the building in front of me
To a window where I can see
A luminescent bulb
Glowing

I throw a hook to it
With a wire and
Bzzzzzzzzzzz
I slide right up to the seventh floor
Through the window
Glass everywhere

And I just stand there
Wiping the dust off my shoulder

It's some kind of office
There is a desk
I start to explore the paperwork
Seems to belong
To some murder investigator

I open a drawer
There is a bottle of whisky
I don't know the brand
But these things costs
More than my annual alcohol budget

Door opens
She comes in
The same girl that walked by
A minute ago

I throw the papers
Over my shoulder
And she goes like

But I sit there with sunglasses on
Puffing huge Cuban cigar
And I'm like

So we start kissing and stuff
I rip off my shirt
Buttons flies in the air
And I accidentally
Hit the fire alarm
With my elbow

Sirens wailing
People running around
Holding their heads
Screaming panicking

No I don't need problems

So I walk back to the window
And bzzzzzzzzzz back to my seat
At the table
Outside the pub
And sit like nothing ever happened

Mates still talking
One of them looks at me
