One-Third of Americans Don't Believe 6 Million Jews Were Murdered During the Holocaust

Here is an unknown fact that they are just now calling a conspiracy. 85% of people who call themselves Jew, have no Hebrew blood what so ever. Where do I start? Definitions; English is a living language words change, are added or modified by usage eg. "Chauvinist" modern usage says sexist but it was originally "an excessive devotion to any cause, person or ideal" This does not mean that the modern definition is wrong, just narrow. So your baptist minister told you about "fake Jews!" Ffs really why the fuck would anyone want to join that club? A history of oppression and persecution "so lets pretend to be them" I suggest you keep wearing that aluminium hat.

What is your favorite movie that is a love story?
GuyKeith comments on Jun 30, 2018:
I picked African Queen for a couple of reasons. One, Bogie and Hepburn. I mean, what a duo! Secondly, for Bogie to unfreeze the totally religiously impaired Rose was something to behold. I mean, what a woman after he unleashed her passion! I've said too much.
273kelvin replies on Jul 1, 2018:
This was my choice too. Hepburn playing it as Eleanor Roosevelt, making such a hero out of the reprobate Bogie. When he climbs back into the water, you can almost hear Ben E King singing "when a man loves a woman" Jack Cardiffs cinematography complimenting Houstons direction. Oh and whilst we are at it, lets hear it for C S Forester too

All of us has at some time been a victim of crime. In an ideal world, the police force would be dedicated to serve us and make our society better.

Fyi "bloke" is more of a 3rd person term as in "he seems a decent kind of a bloke?" Whereas "mate" is more 1st person, as in drunk in a bar "yer know what...Your my mate you are." or "scuse me mate. Got any spare change?" This is bearing in mind local colloquialisms. In Liverpool "mate" will and can be used but "la" (as in the band the La"s) and "kidder" also functions. From the 70s Pete Atkin was at Cambridge with a writer called Clive James. They never took off as songwriters. Pete went on to produce radio shows for the BBC and Clive became a very successful critic, poet, novelist and TV personality. They still wrote together and Clive always thought that his songs were the best of his work. They sound different because the lyrics come 1st. Then Pete has to fit the music around them. Most songwriters get the tune 1st. Stephen Fry is a big fan as are many others. Definitely a cult following. As for the second song. Its worth it for the closing lines alone. "I sold half the things I value but Ill never count the cost. While I can make a note like broken bracken in the frost"

You live reasonably close and are of similar age, background etc. I always respond to all msgs Although it is a very difficult medium to correspond in. cmadler comments on Jun 15, 2018:
The first remake that comes to mind as being better (far far better) than the original is *The Italian Job*. Seriously, that original is so bad.
273kelvin replies on Jun 18, 2018:
The Italian job was a child of its time. Good car chases were not as prevalent back then also England had not long won the world cup and it was "swinging London". So all the chants of England were currant. Besides Noel Coward you got Benny Hill "I like big women"

@Bignate901 It was not specifically Islam that I was referencing. Rather the belief in fate over free will. As for "not-guilty" that is merely a logical extension that model. I have no free will so how can you blame me? Thats why I think my view is better.
Its been a long long time- Bing Crosby and Les Paul.

@Bignate901 Criminal justice is a good point. If your view was accepted. all pleas would be "not guilty" as I had no choice in the matter. Also any improvements would have to be a conscious decision. made at a bureaucratic level or at the ballot box, thus negating your argument. Democracy would be defunct and we would only have a bureaucracy.

@Bignate901 Logic and reason are not always truth based.Often it is a qualitative decision. Take for example the copernican revolution. In relativity terms, it makes no difference if the earth revolves around the sun or vice versa. It just that the Ptolemy system was crap and Copernicus was better. There are lots of other bits of science thats not 100% provable truth, like evolution. Its just the best that we have. Bear this in mind when you talk about free will. You have 2 distinct premises. Your point of view says that you have little or no say in your destiny. Whether or not you smoke or give up. Quit your job or go for that promotion. Stay where you grew up or move. Believe in god or not. Veg out or do that thing. Your standpoint if accepted as universal truth. It would see no motivation for art or any other improvements to the world. Why would anybody bother? Just roll another spliff and leave that unfinished masterpiece where it is. Its not my choice anyway. My view empowers you. Cards are shuffled and dealt, you have no say in that. What race, class, parents. home town and the thousand natural shocks that flesh is aye to, thats fate. You wanna live longer you can not smoke, watch your weight etc. No guarantees but your odds are improved. If you cheat on your woman or not, stay with or go. Thats how you play the cards. You accept responsibility for your actions good and bad. Try to learn from them and move on. My point may or may not be true but I think its better.

I got asked in a chatroom on here a few says ago, whether there are any good pubs in Liverpool.
springlover comments on Jun 11, 2018:
what makes a pub good to visit?
273kelvin replies on Jun 11, 2018:
The Philharmonic is an interesting pub for visitors. Good food and an art nouveau listed gents toilet (guys will readily make sure its empty for ladies to look at it). It was the Beatles favorite haunt before they became famous. Probably why Macca did that gig yesterday. There are lots of reasons why a pub can be a good visit, decor, food, beer or sometimes just the staff.
