Earliest Baby Boomer. Ozark Mountains farm boy. Drafted, joined Air Force, trained for one year in Texas then sent to communications base in Seville , Spain for three year tour of duty. Hard duty! Married lady from Spain, first son born there. Returned home to get degree in electrical engineering. Degree in hand, joined General Electric Co. Two years in technical marketing training in four states ending in Erie Pa. To learn about locomotives and rail transportation systems. Second son born shortly after graduation. Assigned to sell rail transport equipment and systems to the Middle East based in Tehran, Iran. Daughter born in Tehran. Islamic revolution forced unplanned return to the USA. Shortly after return to US, re-assigned to manage industrial sales for GE in Venezuela
