I came to atheism through a basic philosophy class where I met with such people as Baruch Spinoza and Bertrand Russell. They made a lot more sense writing about religion than anything I found in the bible. As for myself, I am a fallen away Unitarian who worked for the Social Security Administration for 25 years. I am retired, in a sense, but I am taking paralegal classes at CNM. I will be 70 this year, but I intend to keep both my mind and body active until my time is up. I like to hike, swim, and, wait for it, skip rope. Besides reading books that slam religion, I am interested in history, classic literature, and biography.
