I love many animals. Raised dogs and cats and birds. Add to that when the kids were involved: guinea pigs; hamsters; gerbils; chameleon (that will make you fear Jurassic park); hermit crabs (best way to find a missing one is wait til after midnight and listen quietly for tiny clicking crossing tile); fish; and various outdoor temporary animal rescues. That said, I favor cats but with a girlfriend who is allergic dogs it is.
