I had an old friend, who passed away, who liked to go to a certain church because he could play guitar and rock out to GeeZeus. Dont give them to a college, unless getting written assurances. Some years ago, one local college expanded and "updated" its building. I saw the entire record collection got thrown in the trash. Devastating. Not just the general feeling of WTF, but they had albums from every genre and some dating back into antiquity. I think they got rid of their Beta tape collection as well. It, too, had some rarer gems (especially their Shakespeare collection).
