I do a similar thing. I allow them to speak, and I read the literature they give me. Then I ask them to back up the story with facts and evidence. That seems to perplex them. Then I show evidence that the Biblical prophets made predictions that did not come true (and the time for fulfillment is past), that there are contradictions in the Bible, etc. That's when they abandon me and leave me alone. I am happy that they drop me, but I do hope that I planted a seed of doubt in their heads, and that they do their own research to resolve the issue, and discover the truth that religion is a scam based on mythology.

I was told that it was a good thing, because he did it voluntarily in order to atone for our sins. He knew he would resurrect from the dead and have no more pain.
