In chapt. 6, DeNicola outlines several types of ignorance: Ratonal, wherein one chooses, rationally, to not know, or learn something, for several possible reasons; tactical ignorance, such as that which defense lawyers sometimes use to avoid judgment of there own, and willful ignorance, which is the sort that gets me angry with some who I call fools. I chose not to read up on this one until after I write this comment. Then there are some other aspects of it all that he has gone into.
