When I was growing up, TV was "of the devil"; so I only got to watch Mr. Rogers. I don't think he had an atheist hair on his head.
BufftonBeotch replies on Jul 1, 2018:
Not a hate hair though either. I don't think he would associate with the christian hate of today. He was also such an understanding person I can see him addressing gender identity.

The first time I ever heard the word "agnostic" was from Mike Stivic on "All in The Family".

First time I heard many words said on TV was on "All in the Family." And other Norman Lear shows. My dad was very fluent in racist slurs though. To be clear, Lear was obviously mocking small-minded, living room racism.

@jlynn37 It's what we called them. Different regions can vary in a dialect. We canned rather than dried beans.

Ah. No. Don't get me wrong.....in most cases families DO "belong together"....except when you despise them.....but the REAL question is WHERE do they get "kept together"? If LEGAL...keep 'em together HERE....if ILLEGAL....keep 'em together OVER THERE.
BufftonBeotch replies on Jun 30, 2018:
It's not about immigration status. It is about families allowed to stay together while that status is decided. Oh and....his buds are being paid about $750 per child a day while they are separated. I'm sure he is getting a cut of that. He does nothing that doesn't profit himself.

I'm attending a sign waving on the island of Kauai. Here in Hawaii, being White or Caucasian (European Ethnicity) means being a minority. Hawaii is a melting pot of many ethnicities, just like the rest of America.

@goldenvalleyguy, @SkotlandSkye I didn't say I payed that. I said I COULD pay that for local milk. It's whole raw milk. And I have been skim since the '90's. Can't. I eat meat and dairy because i'm an omnivore and I like the way it tastes. Any animal that can digest flesh....does.

@goldenvalleyguy I do pay a bit extra for the milk that is supposedly...pasture. Not sure if that can be verified. I do know of a verified local source. But i is $10 a gallon and unpasteurized. And not homogenized. Yeah. Not sure this skim milk drinker for 20 years would adapt well to that.
What to do when stuck on a plane next to someone trying to convert you?
IAmLove comments on Jun 28, 2018:
i had a young man sitting next to me on a plane say: What do you know about the Mormon. church? i could tell he was about to start telling me so i firmly said enough! This answer plus my tone of voice was enough to discourage him.
BufftonBeotch replies on Jun 28, 2018:
In a way, I feel a kind of mothering kindness to these young men. They most likely grew up in a very sheltered way, without much exposure to the real world and then are suddenly thrust into it. I also understand they can only have contact with family in the event of the death of an immediate family member. But...they are such annoying little twit shits.
